About our team

Treefrog Consulting has brought together veterans from across the IT and Insurance industry to build a company uniquely suited to delivering technology solutions to the (re)insurance and ILS space. Dmitry Mnushkin


Dmitry Mnushkin is the President of Treefrog Consulting LTD. He came to this position after spending 14 years working in the reinsurance industry in Bermuda, architecting and developing software. Prior to this, Mr. Mnushkin was a principal in a software development consultancy in Calgary, Alberta for 3 years where he developed customized solutions for a multi-national building materials supplier (Lafarge Construction) and a national telecom firm (TELUS Mobility).
During his 14 years creating systems for a world-leading reinsurer, Mr. Mnushkin acquired a deep understanding of the business processes and needs specific to that industry. He has built a wide variety of exposure, risk, portfolio, catastrophe, financial calculation, collaboration and workflow tools and systems. More...

Mr. Mnushkin is committed to consult reinsurance startups, younger companies and those looking to replace aging systems. He believes that with a modest investment, even a recent market entrant can have mature, powerful systems that support its unique business model while placing them on a technologically level playing field with established competitors.

Michael Branco


Michael Branco is a born Bermudian who has been in the IT industry for 15+ years with expertise in software development, cloud computing, ecommerce and IT security; serving in several executive and senior management roles in Information Technology. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Computer Science at the University of Western Ontario, pursued graduate studies in Artificial Intelligence and Databases at Stanford University and earned his MBA from Richard Ivey Business School.
After university, Michael returned to Bermuda where he initially worked for Butterfield Bank in Electronic Security and then he moved to Ernst & Young as a software developer. More...

He then embarked on his path into technology start-up companies including payment processing company Promisant and IT security company QuoVadis. He founded Fireminds Ltd., which sold portions of its cloud business to Ignition Bermuda Ltd in 2010. Michael completed a two year contract as Executive Vice President & General Manager of Ignition Bermuda Ltd, with nearly 100 employees and clients in 32 countries.
Michael is also the youngest member of the Young Presidents Organization in Bermuda and served as Deputy Chair for the One Bermuda Alliance, Her Majesty’s Official Opposition. In April 2012, Michael was named as a Justice of the Peace by the Governor of Bermuda.

William Madeiros


William Madeiros is the Executive Vice President, General Manager with operational responsibility for the Freisenbruch-Meyer Group [FMG], reporting directly to the President. Prior to joining FMG in 2006, he spent 25 years as a Senior Executive with a leading insurance company and subsequently two years as Vice President of a local Real Estate firm.
Mr. Madeiros is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute. He has and continues to serve on numerous Government and Bermuda charitable boards. He retired from the Bermuda Regiment as a Major and had the pleasure of serving as a former Aide de Camp to the Governor and Equerry to Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. He is a Member of the Victorian Order [MVO] and a recipient of the Efficiency Decoration [ED].

Ian Cummings


Ian Cummings has been employed as VP of Information Technology for Colonial Group International since June, 1997. His charge is to develop and implement a global information technology strategy that supports the strategic business objectives of the Group. Ian has over forty years experience in IT management, and prior to joining CGI was in technical management with BelCo, Business Systems Ltd, and Gateway Systems Ltd. Ian possesses a degree in Computing Science from Staffordshire University in the UK, and was employed in England in IT management and consultancy roles with the Dunlop and Spillers Groups prior to coming to Bermuda.
